No-Waste Pesto Hummus + ABC Juice – H320N Recipe by Nadja

Possibilities and cleaning

Thanks to two included filter inserts, you can not only juice, you can also easily prepare smoothies. Certain fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges, peppers or beet etc. can be thrown whole into the juicer. The H320N also prepares vegetable milk from a wide variety of nuts. How about a homemade cashew milk, for example, or a soothing matcha latte made from almond milk. So I’d be in!

An insanely important aspect for Hurom for me was the cleaning system. Too often, I’ve been out of the habit of using past juicers because cleaning took more time than anything else. An uncomplicated disassembly of the few parts and the fact that these are merely rinsed under water, convinced me in the end and so I am happy to this day about every freshly squeezed juice.

But now for the pesto hummus

With a can of chickpeas, fresh garlic, some vegan parmesan and ultimately the greens of the vegetables from our juice, you can even reduce food waste and make a really incredibly delicious hummus. To do this, simply save the greens from the carrots and celery and puree the ingredients from the recipe below together. Heat a little oil in a pan and toast pine nuts, slice olives and dress the whole number with a pinch of sea salt, some vegan parmesan and a drizzle of oil.

Ingredients for the juice:
500 g carrots cut into thirds
5 stalks of celery cut into thirds
4 pieces of orange peeled
2 cm ginger with peel

Ingredients of the carrot greens:
1 bunch of the celery greens
400 g can of chickpeas drained
90 ml olive oil
3 tbsp vegan parmesan
1 tsp sea salt
4 cloves of garlic
1 piece of lime the juice

Ingredients for the topping:
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp vegan parmesan
3 pieces of olives in slices

In addition
10 pieces of crackers of your choice
