Strawberry Cardamon Sorbet on Chilli Pineapple
with Hurom GI Slow Juicer

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 8 Frozen Strawberries
  • 1/4 pineapple
  • Birch sugar 100g
  • Water 100g
  • Ground cardamon and chilli
  1. Boil birch sugar and water to make sugar syrup. If you want to sweeten your sorbet a little, put some of the sugar syrup aside. Add half a teaspoon of chilli flakes to the rest.
  2. Cut a quarter out of the pineapple. Peel well, cut out the hard stalk and cut the flesh into pieces.
  3. Leave the pineapple pieces to soak in the chilli sugar syrup for half an hour. The pineapple gets a slight sharpness and nice sweetness.
  4. Puree frozen strawberries with a pinch of ground cardamom in the Hurom Slow Juicer to make sorbet. If you like it a little sweeter, add some sugar syrup and stir the sorbet.
  5. Place the pineapple chunks in the center of a small plate or bowl. Add a scoop of sorbet and your palate is ready.
