Thanks to Hurom’s Slow Squeeze Technology, Hurom slow juicers are able to produce great-tasting juices. Equipped with an auger that squeezes the ingredients at a rotational speed of 80rpm, the slow juicer effectively minimizes nutrient loss due oxidation and preserves the freshness of the ingredients.
The Basic Series features a 350-milliliter chamber made of Tritan plastic, which is known for its durability and safety. This economical series of juicers features a compact design that facilitates storage. Some models of the Basic Series feature a juice cap for added convenience.
The fine strainer ensures the complete separation of liquids and solids in the juicer, allowing the user to produce pulp-free juices. Made of highly durable stainless steel and PEI plastic, the fine strainer has been designed to withstand the high pressures produced by the juicer’s auger.
The two spinning brushes keep the juice thoroughly mixed inside the strainer and chamber, ensuring the smooth discharge of juice from the machine.
Juicing with the juice cap closed allows for more thorough mixing of the solid and liquid components of the juice, making it possible for the user to produce juices with uniform texture and richer flavor. The juice cap also allows the user to pour juice from the juicer into a glass without spilling a drop, as well as to quickly and easily flush the juicer out with water when alternating between different ingredients.
The Cooling Air Vent effectively dissipates the heat generated by the rotation of the motor.
The chamber is made of Tritan plastic, which is free of the harmful chemical Bisphenol A (BPA).
As part of the juicer’s two-stage safety mechanism, these sensors allow the juicer to be turned on only when the body and chamber have been securely attached.
